Fresh daily fodder delivers what dry feed cannot. During the 7-day germination cycle, vitamins A, C, E and β-carotene increase significantly. Active enzymes that are destroyed in dried feed remain alive and available. Phytic acid — which binds minerals in dry grain and blocks absorption — is broken down during sprouting, releasing calcium, iron, and phosphorus into bioavailable forms. For a farm selling artisan cheese, premium milk, or specialty wool at premium pricing, these nutritional differences show up directly in output quality. Better absorbed nutrition means better output.
